In collaboration with NUMPeN, the Education group at Durham University and Michael Grove will host a one-day workshop entitled "Getting started with higher education research". The goal is to provide an introduction to, and advice for first steps in, research and scholarship in maths education for education practitioners.
In collaboration with NUMPeN, the Education group at Durham University and Michael Grove will host a one-day workshop entitled "Getting started with higher education research". The goal is to provide an introduction to, and advice for first steps in, research and scholarship in maths education for education practitioners.
Strategies and approaches for getting started in HE research will be discussed and participants will have time and space to develop their thinking, and leave with concrete next steps. During this session participants will also have the opportunity to link up with other researchers and share ideas and practice.
The workshop will be facilitated by Prof. Michael Grove from the University of Birmingham. Attendance is free, and is open for anyone; we ask that you register using the link below so that we can plan for teas and coffees.
